Ambassador Satbir Singh

Ambassador Satbir Singh assumed responsibilities as the Ambassador of the Republic of India to Mongolia on 24 May 2010.

Ambassador Singh is a career diplomat joining the Indian Foreign Service in 1985.

Ambassador Singh has worked in various capacities in Indian Missions in Stockholm, Bishkek, London and Moscow. His last assignment was Minister Plenipotentiary and Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of the Republic of India, Moscow.

Ambassador Singh is an alumni of the National Defense College of India.

    Apart from his mother-tongue, Ambassador Singh speaks Russian.

He is married and gifted with a daughter.
